Make sure your printer is not set to "scale to fit".

Download and print the attached test page. Make sure your printer believes you're using 'US Letter' size paper, even if it isn't true. If all goes well, you should end up with a 2 inch square.

If the test square comes out the wrong size, scale it up or down to the appropriate size and then use the same scale when you print the patterns. You will find your image scaling under "file > print" or "file > page set up" or something like that.
